Rocky Bar, a Grade-3 winning sprinter by In Excess (Ire) and sire of Grade-3 stakes winner Carlsbad, will conclude the 2015 breeding season at his owner’s ranch in Idaho after covering his book of mares in California. All 2016 Rocky Bar foals born to mares that conceived while he was standing in California will be
a) eligible for California-sired certification if foaled outside the state, or
b) eligible for California-bred certification if foaled in California.
